Vinyl acetate-ethylene polymers are dispersible polymer powders. The powder can be distributed by combining it with water, cement, or mortar made of gypsum. Re-dispersible polymer powder, which is the principal component in dry ready-mixed mortars such as cement- or gypsum-based, gets its name from the fact that its basic particles reform into a state that is equivalent to the original latex.
Description
The redispersible polymer powder product is a water-soluble white or off-white flowable powder, which is a copolymer of ethylene vinyl acetate and uses polyvinyl alcohol as a protective colloid.It has excellent waterproofing properties and bond strength, increasing the elasticity of the mortar and prolonging its open time. It also improves adhesion, bonding, flexural strength, plasticity and abrasion resistance. In addition to performance and workability, it makes flexible crack-resistant mortars more pliable.
Application
Mainly used in plastering mortar for external thermal insulation of external walls, dry powder bonding mortar, putty powder for internal and external walls, tile adhesive, tile pointing agent, dry powder interface agent, external thermal insulation mortar for external walls, self-flowing cement mortar, flexible anti-cracking mortar, Tile adhesive, exterior wall flexible putty powder, etc.
